The Central and Northern New York Chapter of the American Red Cross is seeking nominations for our 27th Annual Real Heroes Celebration to be held on November 19, 2026, from 12:00-1:00 PM at The Links at Erie Village, 5904 N Burdick St, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
Nomination Guidelines: Nominations are due Monday, August 17, 2026. Nominees must live in Onondaga, Oswego, Madison, Oneida, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, or St. Lawrence counties. Heroes must be willing and available to record videotaped interviews to be scheduled with media sponsors, and must be available to attend the Real Heroes Celebration event and accept the award in November 2026.
